Want to make a difference?

As Senior Controller (all genders), you play a key role in the financial steering of ARMEDANGELS. With your strategic perspective on numbers, processes, and business performance, you help ensure that sustainable growth is built on a strong and reliable financial foundation.

You take ownership of further developing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, create transparency around financial performance, and support data-driven decision-making across the business. In doing so, you combine financial excellence with our ambition to operate responsibly and with long-term impact in mind.

Who we are...

Since 2007, ARMEDANGELS has been proving that fashion can be different: innovative and timeless, produced according to responsible standards for people and planet. No wage slavery, no toxic chemicals, no cheap throwaway goods.

What started as a simple idea – printing T-shirts and donating proceeds to social projects – has grown into a company that now ranks among Europe’s leading sustainable lifestyle labels. With a 160-strong team and four collections a year, we show that responsibility and great product design can go hand in hand.

What is the job about?

Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis

You lead and further develop our budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring they are aligned with our business and growth objectives.

You analyze financial performance, conduct variance analyses, and derive actionable recommendations to support better business decisions.

Internal Controls & Compliance

You will develop and strengthen internal control mechanisms, helping to identify risks early on and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

You will assist with annual financial statement audits in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), participate in audits, and, when necessary, coordinate the implementation of required measures from a controlling perspective.

Financial Reporting & Performance Monitoring

You oversee the preparation of meaningful financial reports, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet analysis, creating transparency on the company’s financial performance.

You use KPIs and data-driven insights to identify opportunities and support financial steering.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Support

You work closely with Finance, Operations, IT, and other business functions to integrate financial insights into broader business planning.

You prepare decision-ready analyses for senior stakeholders and help ensure strategic choices are grounded in reliable financial data.

Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement

You support and develop colleagues in Finance and Controlling, fostering a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
